The Redmi 13C 4G boasts a starry design, a sizable display, and a very decent chipset for its price. If you're just looking for a phone that gets the job done without all the 5G hype, this one's not a bad shout at Rs. 7,999. With a generous 6.74-inch screen and a buttery-smooth 90Hz refresh rate, navigating this device feels like a breeze. This phone packs a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, delivering respectable performance for your calling, messaging, and multimedia needs. Snap-happy users will find a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and an 8MP selfie shooter at their disposal. While the picture quality gets the job done, it won't blow your socks off. Battery-wise, you've got a hefty 5000mAh unit that'll keep you going all day long. However, the inclusion of only a 10W charging adapter in the box means you'll be waiting a while for it to juice up fully. The only downside? It ships with Android 13 out-of-the-box in 2024, which might not sit well with some users. But if you're in the market for a smartphone that covers the essentials, the Redmi 13C 4G has your back.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 packs a magnificent 6.43-inches Super AMOLED display, offering Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Corning Gorilla Glass v3 provides sturdy protection for the screen. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 chipset handles the processing work. The 48MP primary camera with an Exmor-RS CMOS sensor captures beautiful images. There are fewer cons to point out, one being the 60 Hz refresh rate display.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max features a bright and large display, packs the Snapdragon 720G chipset, which is good for the price and comes with quality set of rear cameras. It also offers over a day's battery life with the 5,000mAh battery that charges in quick time with the support for 33W fast charging. However, at this price, the phone's screen does not support 90Hz refresh rate and MIUI software still has a lot of bloatware. Still, the phone is a decent bet for the mid-range segment.

The Mi A3 is perfect for those who want a mid-range phone with stock Android UI, good cameras and long battery life. It's a good-looking phone, too. While the phone has an AMOLED screen with good colors, we can't help but notice its lower resolution (720p) for the size. Some might find Android One UI too basic for their needs, but that doesn't mean it's a bad phone. It's just that they'll have to install more third-party apps to get things done.

The Redmi note 5 in a much-needed upgrade over the Redmi Note 4. The large display with minimal bezels certainly helps with the viewing experience. While there were a few UI hiccups, the overall performance was still decent. The phone is indeed well worth its price. However, a few thousand Rupees more will get you the Redmi Note 5 Pro which offers a much better deal.

The Redmi 6 Pro from Xiaomi is a decent budget offering. Its notched, Full HD+ display is great for content consumption, which benefits from having a large battery that lasts well through the day. The software is also clean with handy customization options. If 4K video recording is a must-have, you might be better off with the Redmi Note 5. For everything else, the Redmi 6 Pro should suffice.

Overall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 4G is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a high-performance smartphone at an affordable price. With its powerful processor, AMOLED display, and latest Android 13 OS, the device meet all the needs and expectations. However, do note that the phone doesn't have a 5G support. In the same price, if you are looking for a 5G handset, you can explore other options like Galaxy F23 5G, iQOO Z6 Lite 5G, Redmi 11 Prime 5G, Poco M4 Pro 5G.

The Redmi K20 is one of the best trimmed down versions of a flagship smartphone ever released. Except the Snapdragon 855 chipset and 4K 60fps video recording, it retains all the features of the Redmi K20 Pro. It looks similarly attractive, has the same great AMOLED screen, loud speakers, headphone jack, and long battery life. Its cameras are great for the price. The performance, while not as fast as the Snapdragon 855 on the Redmi K20 Pro, comes eerily close and you won't feel much of a difference even while gaming unless you're comparing side-by-side. If only it had a faster fingerprint reader and better auto brightness, it would've been the most perfect phone in its segment.
