The Realme P3 is a solid choice for budget users seeking top-notch performance. Its new chipset ensures smooth gaming, and the 6,000mAh battery supports long sessions. Despite its large chin, the vibrant display enhances viewing. However, the software, while smooth, comes with bloatware, and the camera struggles with lighting inconsistencies. Still, for power-hungry users, it's a great pick. If you prefer a cleaner software experience, the CMF Phone 1 is a compelling alternative.

The Realme P3 Pro delivers strong value with a vibrant quad-curved display, stereo speakers, and a massive 6,000mAh battery for all-day use. Performance is reliable, and its glow-in-the-dark design is eye-catching, though the appeal may fade. The primary camera is decent but struggles in complex shots, and Realme UI 6 comes with spammy apps. If you prioritize battery and cameras, the Vivo T3 Pro is a better pick, while the Nothing Phone (2a) offers a cleaner software experience.

The Motorola G85 brings a sleek design, a curved pOLED display, outstanding battery life, and impressive speaker performance. For those who appreciate a stylish phone, Motorola has ensured that this device caters to their needs. With a curved screen offering vibrant, punchy colours, it's a standout option in the sub-Rs 20,000 range. On the camera front, it captures social media-ready photos, though they may appear artificial. While the phone can handle demanding tasks without issue, it does tend to heat up after extended use. If you're after a phone with a clean and straightforward software experience, this one checks all the right boxes.

The Galaxy A26 5G is great for first-time users like teens or elders, offering a vibrant display, smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a clean, easy-to-use UI. It handles everyday tasks well but slows with heavier use. The mono speaker and low-light camera performance are underwhelming, and battery life is average. For better all-rounders, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion offers a cleaner UI, while the Nothing Phone (3a) delivers more speed - but Samsung wins on longevity and updates.

The Galaxy F55 sports a stylish design thanks to the vegan leather back, making it stand out in this price segment. It also comes with an IP67 rating to ensure better durability and make it water-resistant. The slim profile also means this is easy to hold with one hand. The phone also sports an excellent SAMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for content consumption. It also works well in bright sunlight. But the audio quality does leave one wanting, especially when watching TV shows. The battery life and performance are also adequate for most users. However, the phone is not ideal for heavy-duty gaming and struggles with titles like Call of Duty: Mobile. While the rear camera delivers good results and the portraits are nice, the selfie camera needs some fixing regarding processing speeds. Samsung has also promised four years of Android updates, which is good.

With its vibrant display and 90Hz refresh rate, the Galaxy A16 offers a smooth experience for everyday tasks. However, it heats up during extended gaming sessions, and its camera is just average, especially for selfies. If you're after solid performance and battery life, it's a good choice. But for a more well-rounded experience in the under-Rs 20,000 range, consider options like the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite or iQOO Z9s.

Nothing's proven that once you get the manufacturing in place, you can create a budget phone at an unbeatable price. The Phone (2a) isn't for the hipsters or someone who just wants a clean UI - it's for the masses. Its new Glyph lights are minimal and not in your face, it's powerful enough to challenge some of the more expensive rivals, it's got a decent pair of cameras, and it can last an entire day.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro is caught in the middle child syndrome within the Redmi Note 13 lineup, but it's got what it takes to shine. It sports a sleek design, an AMOLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution, and a reliable battery backup. With its vibrant design and a camera setup boasting a hefty 200MP main lens and an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, along with a 16MP selfie shooter - the Note 13 Pro caters to photography buffs. Just watch out for noise in low light and occasional inconsistencies in skin tone during portrait mode. Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, it cruises through daily tasks and gaming with ease. Plus, its 5100mAh battery keeps you going strong. And hey, it still rocks a headphone jack and IR transmitter, which is a nice bonus. However, its reliance on Android 13 may deter some users, especially given the year is 2024. Nonetheless, if you're seeking a phone that delivers in terms of cameras, performance, and display quality, the Note 13 Pro is the one for you.

The POCO X6 Pro, priced at Rs 26,999, stands out as the top choice for gamers under Rs 30,000. The Realme P1 Pro features a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate that offers a bright viewing experience in most conditions. While it supports 950 nits of peak brightness, it may falter under glaring sunlight. In terms of design, the device closely resembles its cousins, the Realme 12 Series, with the distinguishing feature of a feather-textured finish on the back panel. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, the P1 Pro easily handles everyday tasks such as calling, messaging, and casual browsing. The device is capable of running heavy titles like BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile, though prolonged usage may lead to noticeable temperature increases. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP selfie camera. While the primary camera delivers decent results, distant or low-light shots may appear grainy. The selfie camera, however, captures social-media-ready images without the need for editing. Running on Realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14 out-of-the-box, the software offers extensive customisation options, albeit accompanied by bloatware that's thankfully deletable. The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging, it can easily last through a day of light to heavy usage. In conclusion, the Realme P1 Pro is a solid option for those seeking a smartphone with commendable battery life, solid performance, and a smooth display.

The Vivo Y200 5G is a budget-friendly smartphone with a decent camera and an appealing design. Sporting a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, it offers an enjoyable viewing experience. The design features a matte finish with a glass back panel, which looks sleek and doesn't attract fingerprints. But it's not just a pretty face - powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, this bad boy handles everyday tasks with ease and even lets you kick back with some casual gaming. With a hefty 4800mAh battery and 44W fast charging support, you're set for a day of uninterrupted use. Now, let's talk about the camera setup. On the rear, there's a 64MP primary camera with OIS and a 2MP bokeh camera, accompanied by a smooth aura ring light for improved low-light photography. For selfies, there's a 16MP front camera that captures decent shots, although it sometimes smoothens the skin, giving it an unnatural look. Running on FuntouchOS 13 based on Android 13, the Vivo Y200 5G offers ample customisation options, albeit accompanied by some pre-installed apps you might not need. Nevertheless, if you're seeking a budget smartphone with a focus on camera performance, the Vivo Y200 5G is worth considering.

The Galaxy A15 5G would make sense for those who are brand loyalists and prefer and cleaner UI. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery, which offers a solid full-day usage or even more, and can be charged via 25W fast charging, which is good. In terms of camera, users get a 50MP primary rear camera coupled with a macro lens. The picture quality is decent in the day, but if a higher-resolution camera is your priority, you may want to look elsewhere. The MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ under its hood offers modest performance, and a mid-tier processor on a smartphone is surprising given the SoC can be seen on devices like Xiaomi Redmi 13C 5G, Poco M6 5G, Realme 11x 5G, and more that cost between Rs 10,000-Rs 15,000. While its AMOLED display is respectable, with a FHD+ resolution, its refresh rate of 90Hz may not sit well with everyone.

Priced at Rs 25,999, the Honor X9b is a solid mid-range contender with much to offer. If you're a casual user who prefers a stunning and durable display, sleek design, and exceptional battery life, then the X9b is worth considering. However, if the camera capabilities and powerful processing power matter to you, we think you should explore other options in the market, like the iQOO Z9, POCO X6 Pro, or Nothing Phone (2a).
